Patricia Roberts has helped tens of thousands of families prepare for the cost of higher education through her leadership in nearly every aspect of the 529 college savings arena over the past 21 years.
She recently authored a top new release called Route 529: A Parent’s Guide to Saving for College and Career Training with 529 Plans. She is currently Chief Operating Officer at Gift of College, Inc., where she helps individuals save for college and pay down student loan debt with the help of employers, family, and friends.
Having financed her own undergraduate and law degrees while working multiple jobs and having repaid sizeable student loans, Patricia has a personal appreciation for the tremendous value of higher education–and the doors it opens–and the difference advanced planning can make to pay for it. In her favorite role of all, Patricia has saved by way of payroll deduction for her son Ben’s college education. As a result, he graduated debt-free from Clark University in Worcester, MA, in 2021.
