My son will attend college a year from this fall. I (mom) have primary custody of my children and I remarried three years ago. My husband and I keep our finances completely separate, file taxes separately and have a prenup that states that I take care of my kids, he takes care of his etc. When applying for financial aid, I understand that they will count his income even though he will not be contributing to my son’s college. His income will likley make me ineligable for financial aid despite our agreement that it’s solely my responsibility. Is there a way to convey this in my son’s financial aid application?

Is there a company that will pay for vet school? Thank you.

How is military retirement pay factored into the FAFSA and other financial aid eligibility calculations? Additionally, are there any education benefits available to children of military retirees—other than the GI Bill—that families should be aware of?

Hi! I am one of two beneficiaries to a house that is in a family trust. The trust is in the name of the deceased family member, who passed away several years ago. Am I required to give this information and the estimated property value on college financial aid applications, since it is in the name of the trust? Thanks so much for
Your assistance.
