Why The College Funding Coach?
Having heard—and addressed—time and again the stress‐filled concern from parents about how to fund their children’s collegiate dreams, Stacy feels fortunate and honored to provide education and guidance through The College Funding Coach to relieve this stress for her hometown families.
The relationships and lessons learned in college impact and inform the lives of attendees for a lifetime, and Stacy takes great pride in helping high‐school graduates take the first step toward the journey that will shape the rest of their lives: going to college.
A Little More About Stacy
Background: After spending 21 years in California, Stacy Segal returned to Northern Virginia and enthusiastically joined The College Funding Coach team.
An honors graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School and then The University of Virginia, Stacy spent the better part of the past two decades helping families create financial peace of mind after realizing that working in publicity with A‐List celebrities in Hollywood was fun and glamorous, but not the right career fit.
In her spare time, Stacy enjoys triathlon and endurance running events (Ironman Arizona 2014), Orangetheory Fitness, baking, exploring new places and dining experiences, dance, musical theatre, baseball, sunrises/sunsets, reading and singing (an alto with The New Dominions co‐ed a cappella group for all 8 semesters at UVA).
Education: The University of Virginia Class of 2000: Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs; Minor in Spanish included coursework from a 1998 summer UVA study-abroad program in Valencia, Spain.
