Why The College Funding Coach?

Over the years, I have come to realize how many people focus on retirement planning and forget to plan strategically for their children’s education. It does not matter if you decide to pay for all, part of, or none of your children’s education: having a strategic plan will allow them to pay the least amount possible for their college education.

Area of Focus for College Funding Workshops: Greater Phoenix Area. We deliver workshops to public and private schools, employers, churches, and community organizations–just about any group that wants to educate its members.

A Little More About Jon

Background: Prior to starting his financial career in 2005, Jon managed a family business. He was able to see how the busy lives of both business owners and employees prevented them from planning for their own futures. He wanted to make a difference by helping others plan for their ideal financial future while they dealt with the chaos of everyday life.

Currently an advisor at NorthPlace Wealth Advisors, Jon prides himself on getting to know his client’s unique situations and educating them on what solutions are available to them. This allows him to create a customized strategy to fit their individual needs and helps them to make their own well-informed financial decisions.

Personal Life & Community Involvement: Jon is a native of Arizona and an avid Suns fan. He spends time volunteering with many organizations, including Midwest Food Bank, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and Feed My Starving Children.  In his spare time, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, as well as playing basketball, cycling, mountain biking, camping, and hiking.

Professional Accomplishments: Jon holds the designation of RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) and LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow).
