Why The College Funding Coach?
Raised by an English teacher, education has always been a top priority for me and my five siblings. I believe that financial literacy is the missing piece for most of our world’s problems, and I am passionate about spreading this knowledge and awareness in our local community.
Area of Focus for College Funding Workshops: Public high schools in the greater Richmond area.
A Little More About Charlotte
Background: After spending ten years at Merrill Lynch in an operations/administrative/ team management role, Charlotte worked to achieve her CFP® designation and joined Heritage Wealth Advisors as a wealth advisor. She spent two years at Heritage, learning the ins and outs of financial, estate, and tax planning. Towards the middle of 2023, she decided to pursue having her own financial planning practice and joined True North Advisors in early 2024. Since starting at True North, Charlotte has worked closely with longtime college funding experts, Jen Rose and Frankie Butler, to help families save and pay for college without disrupting their retirement.

Personal: Charlotte was born and raised in Richmond, VA and lives in the home her grandparents purchased in 1963. She spends her free time with her son, Beau, and their golden doodle, Louise. She is very involved in the local neighborhood and community.
