Why The College Funding Coach?
Prior to joining the financial planning industry, Carrie was the Vice President of one of the DC area’s premiere SAT prep companies, where she taught classes, did informational presentations at local area high schools, and hired, trained, and developed SAT teachers.
When she changed careers and joined the financial planning industry in 2012, Carrie thought she’d leave the college process forever. However, she realized she couldn’t escape for long and joined the College Funding Coach team soon after. Carrie works to help parents find strategic ways to fund college without undermining their retirement income plans.
More About Carrie
Carrie grew up in a small sailing town outside of Boston, MA, and moved to Tucson, AZ, in middle school. She’s always been a competitive athlete, playing basketball and competing in springboard and platform diving. Upon graduating valedictorian of her high school class, she attended Georgetown University and graduated in 2005.
When Carrie’s not working, she’s most likely on skis, on the golf course, or spending time with her family. She’s an avid Georgetown Hoyas and New England Patriots fan.
Carrie and her husband live in Aldie, VA, and have three children: Daniel (14), Joe (4), and Violet (1.5).

Carrie is a Georgetown University graduate, a former competitive athlete, and a proud fan of the Hoyas and the New England Patriots. She lives in Aldie, VA, with her husband and their three children: Daniel, Joe, and Violet.
