David Beck is a former NCAA Division I Coach/Recruiting Coordinator and founder of Recruiting Class, a structured college recruiting education and strategy program that has guided families through one of the most financially and emotionally significant decisions they will make.
During his collegiate coaching career, David evaluated thousands of prospective student-athletes and helped oversee the distribution of millions in athletic scholarship dollars. He worked closely with families navigating scholarship offers, financial aid conversations, and long-term college decisions — gaining firsthand insight into how funding strategy, timing, and positioning impact outcomes.
After leaving full-time coaching, David launched Recruiting Class to help families better understand the systems behind college recruiting and scholarship allocation. His work emphasizes ownership, preparation, and informed decision-making rather than guesswork or pressure-based choices. The program has helped families secure roster spots to various NCAA D1, D2, and D3 institutions.
Today, David brings that same structured, analytical approach to The College Funding Coach. Known for his calm presence and ability to simplify complex processes, he helps educators give their families the knowledge and empowerment to make confident, well-informed decisions through resources at The College Funding Coach as the National Workshop Development Manager.
David was raised in a family of educators. In his free time, you will find him spending time with his 5 brothers and playing beach volleyball.
