Why The College Funding Coach?
When I started a career as a financial advisor, I wanted to make sure I educated people as much as possible on retirement planning, college saving, estate planning, and taxes. No one should suffer from a lack of resources or knowledge when it comes to personal finance.
This is especially pertinent today as college costs reach ridiculous heights. It’s more important than ever for families to become informed consumers of college. This includes not only finding affordable colleges by understanding the financial aid system but also putting together a flexible college funding strategy as soon as possible.
A Little More About Richie
Career Background: Richie started his career out of college as a professional golfer and played golf for about 7 years. He played in the 2016 U.S. Open and 2017 Fedex St. Jude on the PGA Tour.
He transitioned to financial advising in 2020 and has focused on growing his practice since then. He focuses mainly on retirement income planning, estate planning, taxes, and now college savings/education.
Richie credits his golf background for developing a foundation of discipline, resilience, and strategic planning needed to be an effective financial advisor.
Personal Life: Richie spends most of his free time with his wife, Emily, and two children, Vesper and Oliver. They enjoy traveling and cooking, among many other activities. If he’s not with his family, you can find Richie on the golf course.
Professional Accomplishments: At his previous firm, he qualified for club level in his first 2 years. In 2022, he qualified for Focus Club, “Excellence in Performance,” and Senate 1 club through Securian.
Education: B.A. in Business Administration, Malone University, Canton, OH.
