Erik was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School in 2004. He went on to attend the University of Maryland where he studied business, held leadership positions in various student organizations, and worked part-time for the Washington Redskins. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Erik worked for Accenture Strategy for 6 years in Washington, D.C. and New York City before eventually moving into private practice.

Erik is a Certified Financial Planner ™ and serves as the Regional Vice President of The College Funding Coach® for Florida. His passion is taking a consultative, educational approach to provide families with the tools and solutions they need to successfully plan for their children’s college funding without sacrificing other major financial goals like retirement.

Erik, his wife Melanie, and their daughter Shayla live in Tampa, Florida. He serves on the Board of Directors for A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay and the Florida Holocaust Museum Investment arm (HHH). He is also an Alumni Executive Committee member for Berkeley Preparatory School, a founding member of the Round of a Lifetime Foundation, and a member of Tampa Connections, class of 2018.

When he is not working, you can find Erik playing outside with Shayla, making plans with friends and family, listening to various podcasts, and watching documentaries.
