Austin Perryman graduated from Hampden-Sydney College and immediately began his career in the financial services industry. His primary motivation for joining the industry was to put himself in a position that he could help friends, family, and others reach their financial goals and live stress-free lives. This quickly evolved into a career when he realized that being a comprehensive financial planner was directly in line with his goals.

In 2019 his career took a giant leap forward and evolved. As Austin was thinking “how can I help people that are the most in need?”, he was introduced to The College Funding Coach®️. His new calling was immediate. The goal of helping people the most in need was directly in line with The College Funding Coach®️’s mission: help families better understand the complex strategies for saving and paying for college and making higher education more affordable.
Having attended Hampden-Sydney College, which is a small private school in Virginia with a rather high sticker price, the information was immediately captivating. Some of the strategies he is now teaching families were things that he had accidentally done already (for example, playing football made this rather… average… high school student now a “desirable” member of the H-SC student body). The College Funding Coach®️ now allows him to educate – and facilitate – families about numerous strategies for reducing the costs of college well before they’re in the throes of it!

Austin was born and raised in Fairfax, VA. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney with a degree in Mathematical Economics he relocated to Richmond, VA which he now calls home. He is engaged to be married in 2021 to Lauren Griffith. In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his fiancée and exploring Richmond… that is, if he’s not already in the gym or somewhere outdoors either golfing or playing flag football.
