Carrie Morris

Originally from a small sailing town outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Carrie moved to Tucson, Arizona when she was eleven.  She played basketball, was a springboard and platform diver and was valedictorian of her high school class.  Upon graduation, she attended Georgetown University and graduated in 2005.

For the seven years prior to joining The College Funding Coach team, Carrie was the Vice President of the Washington, D.C. area’s most successful locally-owned SAT preparatory company.  Her experience includes sales, informational presentations at local high schools, college application assistance and counseling.  In addition, she has conducted business development and taught SAT courses pro-bono for underprivileged students.  She prides herself on building and maintaining long-term relationships.

Upon changing careers in 2012, Carrie thought she’d leave the college process forever.  She couldn’t escape for long and realized she missed helping families through the daunting college process; she jumped on board with the College Funding Coach soon after.  Carrie works to help parents find strategic ways to fund college without undermining their retirement income plans.

When Carrie’s not working, she’s most likely found on the side of a cliff, either on skis or a mountain bike.  She also enjoys playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, and watching the New England Patriots.  Carrie and her husband reside in Aldie, Virginia.

Carrie is located in our Vienna, Virginia office, and can be reached by phone at (703) 394-7112 or via email at cmorris@thecollegefundingcoach.org.
