Jeff Miller

Jeff is a 4th generation San Franciscan, born in SF and raised in Walnut Creek, CA.  Jeff graduated from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA.  He spent 7 years as an independent options trader on the floor of the Pacific Exchange followed by 4 years trading on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange.  In 2007, Jeff returned to the Bay Area and now works with families by helping in all aspects of their financial planning.

Outside of work Jeff has coached over 60 seasons of youth sports teams from beginner through high school varsity level in basketball, baseball, swimming, and soccer.  Jeff has spent time coaching at Acalanes High School, Las Lomas High School, Lafayette Moraga Youth Association, Mustang Soccer, San Ramon Valley Little League, and CYO basketball at multiple parishes.  Jeff is very active in raising awareness and funding for the Young Faces of ALS and the ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge, MA.  He helps organize their annual National Corntoss Challenge in San Francisco every summer.  He is also a volunteer for Junior Achievement and a Lifetime Member of the One Hundred Club of Contra Costa County.

Jeff got involved in The College Funding Coach to combine his finance background with his passion for coaching and helping others.  He feels it is important to teach parents how to pay for college for their kids without sacrificing their own retirement strategies.

Jeff and his wife Amy live in Alamo with their sons Ben and Matt.  He is located in our Danville, CA office and can be reached at 925-820-8200 or via email:  jmiller@thecollegefundingcoach.org
